Several thousand Ukrainians have visited our charity center AGAPAS (823 Manning Ave). Some of them flew from the war in March-April, they are already experienced, did a lot in the new place. Someone has been here for literally 5-7 days practically without things or with a small amount of the most necessary ..., the approaching Christmas and New Year will be the first in Canada for all of them, away from home.

We want to... to warm these women and children, first, in the literal and figurative senses. Once again, we appeal to all those who are kind and merciful and ask you to donate:

winter outerwear,

any brand-new items suitable for gifts to children and adults,

food for the formation of gift sets,

skates, skis, ice skates,

tickets for entertainment events,

gift cards.

Also, we will be very grateful for the following:

electrical goods (heaters, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, kettles, mixers, blenders),

cooking utensils,

hygiene items for adults and children (diapers of all sizes, shampoos, laundry detergents)

groceries.

Donations can be left on Wednesdays and Sundays, from 12 pm to 3 pm, from the parking lot behind the church building (823 Manning Ave. from Follis Ave). Food - from the main entrance to the Center (from Manning Ave)

E-transfers can be sent to treasurer@sobortoronto. com with the note “Help to Ukrainian Refugees”. At the beginning of 2023, a tax receipt will be issued for every dollar donated.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who responds! Maybe someone else has a couple of sewing machines and a printer?

We invite Ukrainians who arrived on CUAET on Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm to choose:

warm clothes and shoes,

care items and a variety of products for children (highchairs, swings, car seats)

Together with North York Community House, Infusion Immigration Inc, Cultural Link, and employment agencies, we provide the following services:

Social worker,

Immigration consulting,

Settlement worker,

job search and resume preparation,

registration in Food Bank,

and help with information, including parents who arrived with special children.

Come, use all the opportunities to get support wherever you can.

Address: 823 Manning Ave, Toronto. The building is to the left of the church, on the second floor.
